How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Propriety is very close to the Citadel and City Centre, it is clean and the staff is very nice. They helped us with the parking across the street.

The only thing that was not perfect was the smoke in the room. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and obviously some of the previous guests smoked in the room. However, the hosts and everything else was great.
Everything was great: hospitality, amenities, cleanliness, comfort. Highly recommended for short stays in the center of Niš.

It's located on one of the bussiest streets of Niš. For us it was no problem to sleep, but if you are a light sleeper, you might want to consider something on a quieter street.
Very decent appartement, nice owner. It's close to the center and on a very good position for tourists. When I come back to Nis, i will book it again

No breakfast included, but actually I didn't order and wasn't expecting such. I don't know even if it is in the scope of services.
Perfect location - 10 mins by feet from central square. Parking spot was booked and used. Clean, comfortable, nice hosts. Perfect experience for the family. I booked it in the last minute and everything was beyond the expectations.

Staying at this hotel was a nice experience. Our host Milos helped us too much with his recommends. Rooms and towels are clean .There is everything are you looking for is in the room. There was air conditioning for hot summer days. Also the chocolates in the fridge was one of the good details. So From now on, Hotel Casablanca will be our only accommodation preference in the niche.

The only thing that wasn't perfect is more of a nitpick of mine than an actual issue, but the balcony was a bit dusty and lacked something like a chair or a small table, which would have been nice for the smoker in our group. Again, this is so minor that I would hardly call it an issue.
Excellent location, around 600m from downtown, and the walk from the lodging to the center is along the Nišava riverbank. Room was perfectly clean, decently sized, air conditioned, and had fast free Wi-Fi. Beds were clean, comfortable and of decent size. Bathroom was a tiny bit cramped, but the shower was fairly big, and both were spotless. The room also had a fridge, which was welcome. As our group came by car, we were offered a parking space right across the street from the location, and the parking lot was locked up during the night, so there were no fears of anyone stealing from the car (though Niš is so safe that I doubt this was a risk regardless).

The admin was very nice, friendly and caring. The room and bathroom are very clean. Good bed linen and towels. Comfortable mattresses. The air conditioning works great and is positioned so it doesn't blow directly on the bed. The room has a mini-fridge with free water and candy. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, hot water never ran out. Casablanca is a five-minute walk from the bus station and Nis Fortress.

Great location in the centre near the bus station. Clean and comfortable room with private bathroom and kind host who welcomes the guests with the most necessary thing , especially in the summer -a bottle of cold water. - Location: 5 min from the Nis Tvrdava (Fortress) and the pedestrian bridge, where the main street starts. We were in Nis for the Jazz festival and the location suited us more than perfectly - Very comfy mattresses and pillows - Spotless clean: everything - Small shared kitchen with some facilities + coffee and sugar - Friendly welcoming host Will visit again!
