Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Cozy apartment, very clean, with a balcony, parking, and an elevator. It’s a 15-minute walk to the city center. The lovely Kristina helped with many things — thank you to her. Highly recommended!

It’s in the city center, just minutes away on foot from the Promenada shopping center. The main square is also within walking distance. The place was clean, and there was a parking spot available in the building’s courtyard.

Everthing was perfect
If you’re planning a stay in Novi Sad, NS Life Apartment is a great choice! We stayed there recently and were really happy with everything. First and most importantly – the host is amazing! Even though we arrived late at night, she welcomed us with a smile and was super kind. We immediately felt at home, which is a huge plus. The apartment itself is well-furnished, clean, and spacious. The bed was comfy, the kitchen fully equipped, and the balcony was perfect for a morning coffee. Everything was just right! The location is excellent – quiet, yet close to the city center, so it’s easy to get around. But the best part – free parking! Anyone traveling by car knows how valuable that is, no stress about finding a spot. All in all, a fantastic experience – a great host, an excellent apartment, and parking included. If you’re visiting Novi Sad, NS Life is highly recommended!

Sensor light on the way to lifts could be better than switch. That could be an apartment block issue.
Kristina is a friendly welcoming host. She try her best to please. Apartment is nice and well presented throughout. It has air-con but only in the lounge so the bedroom was slightly warm on that hot day. Nevertheless, I was able to sleep. The place is a short walk to the town centre. Lifts help when the apartment is high up.

great location, the city center of Novi Sad could be reached by foot. The flat had a balcony and a very warm atmosphere due to the indirect kind of lightening. Furthermore all looked very new and it was decorated in a nice way.

Kristina the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartment itself is really nice, and located in a decent area not too far from the main attractions of Novi Sad.

Nice and cozy apartment with private parking only 15 min walk from the city center. Lovely host Kristina who gave us recommendations what to see and how to get there. We really enjoyed our meals at Lanterna restaurant and the walk in Dunavski park. The only downside was that we stayed only for 1 night :) If we ever come back we'd stay here again.
