There were people listening to loud music nearby until almost 2am (I'm not sure if they were neighbours or people staying in the hostel, because I couldn't see where the music was coming from). That made my stay less pleasant.

The hostel was great, with all the basics, located centrally and at a good price. Easy to access with codes at the door.

The bed wasn't that comfortable and the ladder from the bunk bed was making noyse even if I was still. The cushion was almost unexisting and the locker had no bolt. It is important to let travellers know if there are or if they can be provided.

They let me stay a way longer than the time of check-out and I could store my luggage till the time needed. One of the stuff was easy going and handed me a bolt for the locker, while the cleaner greeted and smiled and it was nice. The room was also warm-ish

Cigs allowed basically entire hostel even Inside closed doors like reception. Wanted to have a beer inside closed doors but people were even smoking there. I’m allergic and asked anywhere I can go and they basically said nowhere. Bedroom was not clean when I arrived. Kitchen has no propane to cook. 100% guarantee if you check in you will walk past people smoking and it’s disgusting

They let me keep my bags past checkout when I waited for my night train.

Hostel wasn't very clean. The bins weren't emptied, the beds weren't made, and there were squashed mosquitos all over the walls. Not so good considering this hostel was a bit more expensive than others I stayed at elsewhere in the country. For some reason, the place is like a magnet for mosquitos. It didn't help that the net on the door didn't cover the entrance fully, and nobody else bothered to slide the door fully across, meaning they flooded into the room. Each night, I had to go on a killing spree and got at least 5 each time. I had to provide my own lock for the locker, which wasn't a problem as I already had one, but this is important for other guests to bring one.

The location is very good, right in the center of the city, and near to a few restaurants and a variety of shops. The staff man at check-in is quite helpful. The hostel is also part of a building with a bar, and the bar cooks some great burgers (photo attached); however, the bar has some regular patrons and it gets very noisy. The hostel has a couple of residents, and they were very helpful, and also did a huge bag of my laundry for just 20 Lei (half the price of a launderette).

The room was very cold, although I was given a radiator when I asked for one. The bathroom was quite dark, and the sink leaked quite badly. The kitchen was always a mess. Not very social, not many guests staying. I had a lot of bites from bed bugs. Hostel doesn't look how it does in the pictures. Clearly, the pictures are very old. No lockers to store valuables.

Well located. Shower was hot. Bed was comfortable.

no option to pay online beforehand. I announced my arrival time (23-00) before my arrival but because it was wrongly read by the staff I had to wait for someone to come collect the payment. also the bed had bedbugs.

Sloppy beds, lack of curtains (or other room darkening method), un-knowledgeable staff defending their not knowing basic city transportation info (“I work here only three weeks so how should I know how to reach the bus station”). Not fair value for money

Awkward interaction with the owner, but the rest of the staff was great. Not much value for money for this price. Also, the absence of privacy (no curtains on the windows) was not great.

Amazing location, close to the city centre and public transport! It's just a 5 minute walk to everything. Not incredibly cheap, but Cluj is generally an expensive city.

Bed bugs unfortunately. Manager seemed overwhelmed and hostel seemed understaffed. The hostel seemed somewhat insecure as there was nothing stopping someone from the street from walking into the rooms, main door only locked at night.

Good location. Nice kitchen and common area. Generally pretty clean.

As above, I could not find a kitchen (maybe there is one hidden but I couldn't find it). Also, there seems to be no common area. The only thing that really disappointed me was the filth of the bathroom, particularly the shower. I don't believe that it has been cleaned in a very long time. It needs a good scrub. The shower curtain was actually black all the way up from what I imagine is black mould (or maybe just grime). These are easy and cheap to replace.

The location of this hostel is excellent. It could not be more convenient. It is a very cool hostel with an attached bar and a laid-back vibe. I only stayed one night but could not find a kitchen, although there was a kettle in my dorm. The dorm was roomy with only single beds (no bunks). The dorm itself was clean. The one staff member that I met was courteous and efficient.

One of the bathrooms next to the room I was in on the upper floor smelled so bad it had me reeling even when I was in my bed when the door was opened. May be an unresolved plumbing issue. Shower didnt work for one of the days I was there.

Great price, free wifi, area to socialise, friendly cat, extremely good location. The owner, Silvio is chill.

took me a while to understand where was the entrance and that the hostel and the bar were the same. when i got there they told me there was no reservation, then fixed it but when i got back there was another guy in my bed to they had to swap again. all good in the end, but kinda messy. room was kinda small for the price

It felt unclean, the beds were itchy and uncomfortable, and when I arrived there was nobody to check me in. Admittedly I did arrive late, but I tried calling them several times earlier and nobody picked up the phone. After trying to find somebody, presumably a staff-member (maybe just a guest) basically just said something to me in Romanian and I ended up taking an empty bed, of which there were many. The next day the one member of staff did help me out, and he was quite nice about it. But in general the hostel felt vacant, dirty, ugly and a little run-down.

The neighborhood location was quite good, close to public transport and only a short stroll to get to the central square. The hostel seemed completely empty, so I had it all to myself. In general it was fine.

Please clean the rooms and the bathroom, they are disgusting. We found a lot of hair in the bathroom, and the bed mattress was broken. We are not gonna come back for sure here.
