How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was on the ground floor and exactly at the entrance of the bulduing, so as we, in our first night there left the windows open, experienced some trouble with the noise. But we had no problem with the windows closed.
The location was very convenient for my plans. The room was pretty clean.

Whole room seemed huge and empty, whereas bathroom was inadequately small and inconvenient to use, without hangers and with hardly hanging shelf with no place to leave belongings
The price was fine, the AC was working good and the bed was rather comfortable.

Close to the train station, about an 8-minute walk. The air conditioning works well, the shower has good water pressure, and the room is spacious. You should receive a PIN code to unlock the doors on your arrival day—make sure you get it, otherwise you might end up stuck outside. I’d be happy to stay here again if I’m in Bucharest.

The late check in is very convenient but we never received the information needed on time.I sent a few messages the day before and the day of arrival but it appears no one checks the email. I had to call the hotel and ask for the entrance code. I think the personnel should take into consideration to be more careful with the communication with guests. Other than that our stay was good
Very good location for someone who wants to take an early train from Gara de Nord. The room was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood quiet.

There were some minor issues with check-in and payment, but everything was eventually resolved.
I liked the location — it’s very close to the train station, and there are nice coffee shops nearby that open early in the morning. The room was generally clean, with a balcony and a small fridge, which was convenient.

Good choice of hotel near gara de nord, its about a ten minuite walk from the station. Rooms are large and the shower worked well. No breakfast here but very good coffee shop next door. Extra hint turn right out the hotel at end of road turn left there's a Nepalese resteraunt serving excellent food definitely worth the effort.

Bed is not the most comfortable, bathroom is very small (you band your head on the bathroom mirror when using the sink), cleanliness - specific to a huge cockroach stuck in the ceiling fan.

Handy for Bucuresti Nord railway station (less than 10 minutes walk). Check in by key code etc, communication with owner was good.

Wifi could be better.
Great value for money. Very welcome English speaking personnel. Family apartment was very spacious. Furniture is a bit old but everything is clean and tidy. Good location - easy to travel and walk to city center, big choice of shops nearby.

No lift. Not a problem for most. If u have any concerns ask for a ground floor room. A soft drink and or a hot drink, vending machine in the lobby - I think you'll be surprised how quickly you recoup the investement.
Very central, but on a small quiet street, close to all types of eateries and coffee shops, for all ages and all $€. Public transportation close by. Minimarkets as well. Clean, spacious. Polite staff.

We've checked in late due to flight delay. At check-in room was smelling with cigarette smoke and we had to spend a night in it as no other rooms were available. Basic room with basic furniture - pictures don't reflect reality.
Good location, near central station. Helpful staff, helped to change the room next day.
