The bathroom and the shower cabinet, which is small, very old and I'm not sure if it was dirty or just layers of calcar... would make a huge impact to replace them.

The building, the interior, and the big open areas are impressive. The breakfast has choises even for lactose intolerant people. It is quite diverse and has plenty of choices.

The hotel is very nice and the stuff is very kind and polite - always ready to help you! Very clean rooms and good breakfast. The location is close to the centre. Next time when we visit Craiova we definitely will stay in Royal Craiova!

Nothing at all, everything exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk of the old town centre, meaning you get a pleasant and quiet stay without being too far out. Andrei on reception was fabulous and very friendly, he provided several good tips about the local area and made me feel very welcome. The room was large and very comfortable, with a well appointed bathroom and stable, fast wi-fi. Breakfast was very tasty and provided options above and beyond your usual hotel breakfast fare.

The receptionist has too many duties, sometimes you have to wait for him/her for quite some time. The work of the cleaning lady in my room should have been much better. One day she changed the towels but did not clean the room, did not make the bed. Instead, on that very day, when returning to the hotel, I saw her smoking in front of the hotel as if her work had been perfect, when in fact it had not been done.

Breakfast is good. Location very good. Silent street, but in the middle of Craiova.

I chose this hotel because it had good reviews, looked nice in the pictures, and was close to the location where the congress I attended took place. The hotel is indeed very good, with excellent value for money. It feels like staying in a nobleman's manor from the 19th century, with beautiful paintings, classic decor, wooden furniture, high ceilings, marble stairs, classic-style chairs and armchairs, and natural colors—all of which help you relax and rebalance emotionally and physically. The pillows, bed, and mattress are of very high quality, so I slept very well. The room has bathrobes and good-quality towels. I really liked the statue, a piece of art in the room, which made me feel like I was back in my childhood. It's very quiet, with no noise. The breakfast caters to the most refined tastes; I enjoyed the coffee, the wide variety of fruits, cheeses, seeds, yogurts, jams, sausages, porridges, and I appreciated that they had both juice and plant-based milk. The bread was delicious. The lady in the restaurant is very attentive and kind, always making sure you have everything you want and constantly replenishing the assortment. Therefore, I confidently recommend this hotel

I would say that is a good option among the accommodations in Craiova. For the asked price (50 euro) you get a central hotel, options for parking place, decent room and breakfast.

The giant spa bath in the main room was not working.
