Everything was great. Amazing staff open to help with every question or request. The green of the forest, the fresh air and delicious food complete the atmosphere and makes it a perfect place to detach from everyday activities.

We had an amazing stay at this location! The setting is truly beautiful — surrounded by the forest, with a peaceful river nearby, and so much fresh air. The silence and tranquility made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. We also loved seeing the animals on the property, which added a very special and cozy touch. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and plentiful — the perfect start to each day. Everything felt welcoming and authentic. We can’t wait to come back!

There are more than 10 years since we’re coming here. Peaceful. Good food in restaurant. Good breakfast. Very clean. Nice stuff. Close enough to Sibiu, still in nature. The whole region is very nice, Sibiel especially is a nice village.

Balconies don’t have enough separation, you sit next to your neighbours and see them. Room was nicely designed but small. They can put a sign “parcare” to resolve the issue if car can pass their bridge. We had to call. Not a problem but one single sign could help.

Being in the nature was great. It is close to Sibiel town, yet surrounded by the forest. Staff was kind and prompt. We had papanasi in the restaurant, it was very good. Breakfast is not bad but I was expecting better. Good hotel for the price range.

The beds, while having a very nice and traditional design, have both a head board and a foot rest, which is a bit uncomfortable for taller adults with long feet. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but depending on your height (probably above 1.85m), it might be more (or less) uncomfortable. The 2 lovely dogs that are present on the property barked a bit through the night, which in combination with not that great sound proofing, woke us a few times. We weren't that bothered by it, since we really enjoyed their presence during our stay (they even walked alongside us through the forest), but just something worth mentioning if you are a light sleeper. The open-shower area isn't that large, thus you'll probably make a bit of water in the bathroom when showering.

The guest house is perfectly located at the entrance to the forest area, with amazing views of the surrounding hills. It's very nicely and traditionally decorated, which helps bring the feeling of being in the countryside. The staff was amazing and very attentive to the guests. The food was tasty, especially the papanasi.

The staff even though spoke little English were very helpful and adjusted the check in and out times to our request. The location is beautiful and my kid loves the trampoline and play area. Small monastery just 3lms from the hotel is a mist visit also.

A bit far from the ski slopes of Paltinis, but having our car, this wasn't that bad.

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for my partner and me, a steep contrast to the comfy mattress. While the majority of the staff was really nice, the only Romanian waiter seemed rather judging to our party and made us feeling uncomfortable at times. Also, for some, the distance to Sibiu might be a burden, but that comes with the great location.

The location was perfect (as long as you have your own car). Really lovely building, nothing to complain about. Rooms have a nice, traditional country house style, but have everything needed and overall it looked OK and not run down like other, similar places. The food was nothing special, but a nice exception was the Indian food, for those people who are not fans of the Romanian cuisine. Beware of the dogs who are really cute and try to steal your heart. Also, the southern asian staff was really kind hearted and often felt they went the extra mile. Overall, we were really happy with our choice and would recommend.

Even though it was a room with a big bed, it was 2 beds with individual mattresses put together. It was a bit stiff too.

The location is great to relax and unwind, you can just stay there or take a walk or hike in the surrounding forest. The food is amazing here, highly recommend, though beware of food coma. They have a ping-pong table that you can use. Got the room with balcony, it wasn't big, but it had a nice view to the river.
