How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The security, proximity to the supermarket, cleanliness and presentation of the whole property and the positive professional attitude of the staff who went out of their way to assist me. It had a lovely small court yard to relax in.

Nothing, everything was fine.
I stayed for two nights in this pension and I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was clean. The Wi-Fi was fine and the breakfast good. The pension is located about 20' from the center of Brasov on foot but there are buses available in 5' walking distance. Please note that the reception is manned 24/7. I would definitely stay there again.

It is conveniently located close where the bus from Otopenia stops. The staff is super welcoming and helpful.

It's not so close to the Old Town. It takes you 25 min. walking.
The room was big , warm and clean. WIFI was working. For breakfast they provide 4 options of menu. Staff was kind and helpful. I recommend this property.

Location, not that handy for the old town a 15/20 minute walk uphill. Impossible for disabled people as no lift
Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good supermarket nearby. Spotlessly clean .

Only 1 plug socket in the room. Outdated furniture Squeaky bed
Nice basic room with minimal amenities, spotless clean. Good free breakfast in the morning. Left luggage service at the reception Kind hosts It is not very close to the old city, you need to either catch a bus or walk 1.7 km. 1.4 km to the bus station where you can catch the bus to the Bran castle. Located 3 km from the train station, there is no direct bus which takes you there, it is more convenient to use uber Strangely enough the train station is very very far from the city center and the old city

I felt like the bathroom was a bit cramped. The shower curtain was setup so that as I turned the shower on, it sprayed the floor to make it slippery.
Breakfast was great. There were a few options to choose from, and I chose the omelet with cheese. I thought the staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and I had a lot of ease using the wifi. I thought it was a quiet area and it was easy to sleep.

The location was great. Well connected by buses and a short walk from the old town in a very nice neighborhood. The staff were great, very accommodating and attentive. A very nice breakfast.

The staff are so nice and helpful, effecient and friendly. The room is clean and cozy feeling like home. Walking distance to city center and main bus station. Will be back here if travel to Brasov again..

It was incredibly clean and the hosts were the warmest, most helping people ever. It was an amazing distance from the city center - 15 to 20 minutes of walking.

I was surprised a towel wasn't provided in the bathroom, but I had my own so it wasn't a problem. They also called me a taxi when I needed to get to the railway station.
The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They spoke excellent English and provided me with lots of helpful information and a detailed street map.

The place is conveniently located near restaurants and bus stops. It is also walking distance to the old town. What made this property special though were the staff. They were really good. They recommended a place to try local food, dishes to try, how to navigate the city using public transport, and were just overall great people.

Entrance door was closing automatically and you always had to bother the one at the reception to open the door for you.

My room had windows towards the main road, and it does get quite loud, however, close the window and after about 5 minutes, you don't even hear the cars outside. NOTE. This is not a busy main road. Traffic is not continuous
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is great, only a 10-minute walk from the city's historic centre. The room was spacious and clean

Pensuinea Mury is a great place to stay for value. Rooms are very clean. Good breakfast. Within walking distance to downtown Brasov. Small, personable hotel. Staff is very friendly. So happy I found this hotel in Brasov and plan to stay there again next year.
