How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I had some difficulties with the check-in process. Since I booked last minute, the access code arrived only the next morning, likely due to roaming issues near the border. I also received the code by email, but the important information was placed at the very bottom among advertisements, which made it hard to find. Despite the instructions, I was not sure if the online check-in was a requirement or just an option.
Everything is new and nice. Very well decorated and maintained. The personal was supportive and friendly.

Nothing to complain about, really.
The guest house is located in a very quiet neighbourhood in the old part of the town. It is easily accessible by car and has some parking spaces in the yard. We booked a room for 4 people (two adults, two kids) and the room was very spacious and clean. We only spent one night here, on our return trip from Belgrad, but it was great for relaxing after a long drive. I loved the fact that drinking water is free, along with other nice things like coffee or sweets. The center is a five minutes walk away, and there are a lot of options to have a meal.

WiFi was poor at first but the signal improved.
Large comfortable rooms. Fresh bed linen. Private balcony. Plus larger balcony for groups. Made to feel welcome. Complimentary tea and coffee.

I got a room on the third floor with a sloping ceiling due to the roof, so I had to move around half the room bent over, which was uncomfortable.

The location was a bit of a disappointment, far from the places of interest, and the restaurants around were either bad news or closed on Sunday, so we had to drive to the other Nest location for dinner, about 1 km from there. The breakfast room is small and cannot cater for all when the hotel is full. We had to sit outside, which would have been perfect, but the tables were not prepared - no salt, napkins, etc. Some of the food and drinks had finished, so I had to summon the staff for this and that - but they responded immediately.
Lovely attic room - small but cute. The bathroom was a treat - spacious, full of light, with a large shower area in something like a bay window, and its own window. Coffee, tea and sweets are available throughout the day for free in the breakfast room. Staff are friendly and responsive. We found a very useful travel guide in the room - thanks!

As we arrived late, a minibar would have been usefull but they had some water in the room and it was fine. Is noisy if you want to leave your window open.
The room smelled good and the sheets were Crispy clean. We arrived at 4 in the morning and we had the possibility to self check-in - major thumbs up for this. No charge coffee corner available 24h.

Nothing not to like
We are returning yearly in this location and we are always discovering more and more pleasant things. We appreciate each time the high cleaning standard, comfort of the box bed and the amazing breakfast. The personnel is well trained and always positive

"Excellent service, hospitable hosts. The rooms were exceptional, tastefully furnished, and provided everything necessary. Quiet and immaculate place. The private parking on-site offered us the possibility to charge a hybrid vehicle. The breakfast was unique. I would gladly return! Thank you!"
