The pillows were awful, cannot sleep on them at all. The breakfast is underwhelming and there is no fruit available at all. Weddings and parties that were very loud, as our room faced the event hall Feels a bit understaffed, when it gets crowded the wait time increases and the restaurant menu options decrease.

Large room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the TV had plenty of programmes and the image quality was great. The balcony was nice. The pool was good, the water temperature was fantastic, you can spend the whole day there, swimming. You can have a nice walk in the forest to start or end your day.

Needs a strong management. Reception and other staff, with exception of restaurant and breakfast, hard to find. Rather an event location.

No Air con in rooms is very uncomfortable. Hotel is not one thing or other, tries to give a beach club vibe with a twist (forest) around pool with pumping tunes and looking to cater for the young professional with money to burn and look good, than takes in parties/groups of young screaming kids (30 of them approx) for week in August! With blow up unicorns in the pool, screaming and chasing round pool and a youngsters disco in the evening! Than expects the other clients to want to mix and put up with same kids whilst buying from extensive wine/Champagne and cocktails list, I’m sorry but this just is not possible to work on any level, you can’t try cater for both in this model, the hotel seriously needs an identity and a route forward, otherwise will not see out a full season with this ethos!

Location in the forest was very good Parking also very good And food in Italian restaurant is extremely good Friendly staff all round, but some of the waiters need some training! But it’s a strange place in its current guise! That just don’t work and can’t work like this.

The couple who own the place (my guess), the woman was not friendly and did not speak any English. There is no one at the reception and you have to call a number and then someone will show up. I think that a reception should be manned. Next to that we put the 'make my room' card out and were gone the whole day and the room was not cleaned. It sometimes looked that the hotel was a side business and the focus was more and the swimming pool and the day guests using that.

No AC in the rooms. Day pass to the pool for non customers so in the summer no sun longer for the hotel customers Chavland, all kinds of shandy characters around the pool and bar area. There is nothing boutique about the hotel. When communicated to the staff showing them proof of payment, they tried to deny it. The whole experience felt like being scammed. Wanted a refund due to the poor organisation. We were misled to believe that this would be granted and then refused downright. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. STAFF ATTITUDE WAS SHOCKING AND RUDE NOT THE PLACE FOR A ROMANTIC GETAWAY , STEER CLEAR

We stayed there during the weekend and as we understood, that's when usually parties are being held at the place. That usually means loud music during the night, but if you're not a fan of that (like us) you can request a room with a view on the side opposite to the liveliness and you'll be fine. The staff was remarkable - plenty of smiling friendly people, really careful and observant. There are 2 restaurants on the premises, Romanian and Italian, and the food was great in both cases. The place is also pet friendly (a nice detail which we appreciated) and you'll also find a resident cute cat around. All in all, we had an awesome weekend and we'll probably be back sometime.
