Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaI would like to have a breakfast option with the stay but it is what it is :)
The fact that they accept pets for free is amazing. I’ve been going to Lido for years and it’s never disappointing. Clean, simple, close to the beach and the fact that now they have their own beach with loungers is excellent!

BrazilMaybe add another light in the bathroom, as there only one above the mirror and may be a bit dark on the bathtub. But it is does not impacted our stay.
The hotel is in front of the beach, which is easy to go with kids. The staff was kind and helpful. The balcony also have a nice space. The room we stayed was also front view to the beach.

FinlandA bit strange was to get the remote control from the air conditioner at the reception and they you need to give it back on check-out (the explanation was that people steal them, well, I can't believe, but ok, it is just an interesting moment we found). They won't give water in the room, but they will try to sell you for 8 lei (in a shop it costs half of this price and this is not minbar, just couple of bottles at the top of the fridge). We already paid for the hotel through the booking and only had to pay city tax, but they charged us the whole amount (well, I forgot about pre-payment and checked it a bit later, booking of course returned me the original amount, but this took time and message exchange with them. More likely they did it on purpose hoping I would not notice, but who knows). Bunk bed is not really suitable for those who is more than 180cm (for children this is good). WiFi is really poor: signal is good, but throughput is bad, so think you don't have WiFi.
Good view from the balcony. Fridge in the room. Bathroom is ok, there is curtain, so the water is not spread through the whole area. There is enough soap, but shower gel is not enough - they will give you 2 small packs of gel. Air conditioner works fine. Parking lots are enough, but sometimes you may not find a place. The problem is that the hotel does not give you some piece of paper that you would put under the windshield showing you have a permission to park here. Not having this some random people park their car at the hotel slots while staying at the beach. For example neighbouring hotel does care about their guests and all the cars stay with these pieces of paper, so in most case a stranger would not dare to park there. I informed about this at the reception, but I don't think they will care about it as their are just workers and don't really care about the business and don't really care much about you. This is quite common problem with the staff you hire (but as I said we were always able to find a place, e.g. when someone left the place. If you see a triangle at a parting lot, just remove it and park there - this is your place). The beach has a private area with sun loungers (I didn't understand why they insisted on putting this hotel ring on my wrist, which gives the right to a sunbed. I was not going to wear it on my hand all the time. Of course, I took it off right away and showed it on the beach if necessary). The beach itself is fine, can't tell anything negative, but we just went there in the morning of evening (the only problem that people smoke around). In the evening we saw that the beach is cleaned.

UkraineThe only thing that dissapointed us a bit was the absence of chaise longues at the beach, so we had to rent it at a nearby hotel sun zone. It would be great if Lido can provide chaise longues for the guests, since it is a sea area after all.
The location was superb - 50 meter within the sea and the room was with the sea view, so we could enjoy it whenever we are at the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible (the problem with the sink was solved in 10 minutes after we asked for help at the reception) and reacted fast to every appeal from our side. My Romanian is not as good as I want it to be, yet the staff at the reception speak English. Hotel has its own parking lot, yet sometimes it is quite busy. There is a 40 lei per person breakfast offered in the restaurant, if no other option of take away food seems to be reasonable. We also had a dinner (take away) from the restaurant and the portions were huge. There is an extremely expensive supermarket and food zone in 5 minutes walk from the hotel, so I highly recommend to go to Lidl or Penny on your way to Lido or after arrival. You will need drinking water at least, cause it is not provied by the hotel for free.

RomaniaNot updated hotel, gives the impression that is just keeping it alive with minimum investment. The bed was awful making noise, blinds were broken so a lot of lights was coming through all the time. AC remote was not working.
Free sunbeds, relatively close to the beach, great view (i could see a beautiful sunrise). It was relatively clean, and the staff was nice.
