How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Modern comforts in an old building. Easy electronic key system. Excellent breakfast. Large bed and good quality bedding and towels. Slippers provided. Tea and coffee available any time at reception. Plenty of shelving.Super shower. 10 minute walk from train station and from citadel.

Parking on the street might be an issue also here (but we were lucky and found immediately a spot)
The hotel is lovely, each room dedicated to an ancient craftsmanship. It's in an excellent position in a silent neighbourhood near the city center (5 minutes walking distance to the liars' bridge). Spotlessly clean both room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Excellent and varied buffet breakfast in the morning with both sweet and savory food (the pancakes filled with strawberry jam were delicious!). Parking on the street is free in this part of the town.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and eager to help us with turist advice and recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade goods and local products. It is located in walking distance to the city center, but the area is not too busy.

Only very minor topics. In the apartment, at the door light enters in the morning. Therefore the apartment where our kids slept was very bright. Maybe a curtain at the door would solve that. Also I didn't like that the Minibar articles must be paid but I didn't find the price information in the room.
We only could stay one night. It did exceed my expectations. Water dispenser with filtered water, breakfast quality, cleanliness, room, rain shower,... Really a gem and a great experience. I definitely would return for more days.

It was a bit annoying that the rooms are not soundproof so we could hear our neighbours when having shower early morning.
We liked the room a lot: it was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Also, the breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. All in all it is good value for money.

Internet connection should be better.
The accommodation is extremely good. Everything is very new. Very comfortable apartment located 10 minutes' walk from the historic city center. But, above all, I would like to highlight the impeccable service and kindness of the host, Miss Sofia.

The house is a cool mix of rustic vibes and modern style and it’s located just a few minutes from downtown. In the room we found a brochure explaining the place’s history, which was super neat. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time staying here.

We loved everything!
Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful inn in the old town of Sibiu. Spotlessly clean, with a lovely scent throughout and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The beds were super comfortable with crisp white linens. Breakfast was a highlight—everything homemade, delicious, and the coffee was perfect. The staff deserve a 10/10—so friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

Nothing to complain about, if anything, would be the carpet in the bath room, did not feel fresh and looked liked it is hard to clean properly
Extreme value for money, silent location, newly renovated, easy access for motorcycle with private parking inside the yard for bikers. Super friendly personnel and great breakfast with more than you can ask for

Nothing like this.
It’s my third time staying there and I always really enjoyed the place. A wonderful hotel , very polite staff , super comfy beds , very clean , a super tasty morning breakfast with all the goodie’s. Parking is a free street parking just outside the hotel. Just a short 7 min walk to the very center of the Old Town. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure.

Parking was challenging, and the hotel was a little bit of distance to the plaza, but it was in walking distance.
