I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Casa Maria. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — truly a home away from home. Each morning began with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast that catered to a variety of tastes. It was the perfect way to start the day and clearly made with care and attention. What truly sets Casa Maria apart, though, is the host. Warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The shower was a bit small, and the lower level of the apartment could use a sink to wash dishes, and maybe a couch/sofa. But really this is nitpicking, it's a great place.

Super nice host. Beautiful place, set in a quiet corner of Simon village. The apartment we stayed at was nice and clean, with lots of space. The outside courtyard was also beautiful and great for hanging out. I would definitely stay here again!

The vast landscape of the Southern Carpathian’s is complemented by the intimate indoors of Casa Maria. The rooms are furnished with sturdy and original wooden fittings along with crisp white laced bed sheets. This classical style is homely yet has an openness which demonstrates the attention to cleanliness throughout the room. Warm notes in the air welcome you on arrival, as well as the enthusiasm of Maria herself. The breakfast and dinner she provides are not only quality in terms of taste but also plentiful, leaving you thoroughly satisfied. After having originally booked to stay for a single night, it quickly became apparent we wished to stay longer. This was too the case with other guests we spoke to. The outdoor area has many spots for you sit whilst sipping your morning coffee amongst the encompassing woodlands and tweeting birds. We were fortunate be able to bask in the sun, though there are also places with shelter. Thoroughly recommended!

There is no kitchen in the appartment. The stairs are very steep and narrow in the appartment - could be dangeruos with small kids. The design of the bathroom is not very preactical.

Amazing! Anna Maria, the host is super kind and helpful, waiting for us with a big smile and home made sweets. We had fresh and abundant breakfast, and dinner with home made and local food - frest, tasty and yummie. The are cows, chickens and playground - heaven for the kids. The air is fresh as the place is located in the valley. The beds are comfortable, we had a great sleep!

It's very hard to find something to write in the downside section, but maybe I can mention that I felt a bit like in a small museum and was afraid to touch the old furniture which looked very nice.

The host is a lovely person and is trying very hard to make everyone feel exceptional. Everything was sparkling clean. Breakfast was very very tasty. The garden looked amazing and there was plenty of space in the garden to hang around, have a coffee, a glass of wine, or just spend quality time in this amazing natural heaven corner.
