How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very hospitable host, with a lot of information about the visiting options in the city and around it. The room was spacious and comfortable, with common kitchen and recreational area. It has private parking for motorcycles.

Super nice host who stayed up late when our plane was delayed. Very nice room and shared kitchen/living room facilities. Parking is right in the yard off the street. Walk to town is long so we took an uber ( didn’t want to deal with parking our car in the Old Town). Just a lovely, clean comfortable place to stay.

Nothing - we enjoyed everything!
Flavius has been an amazing host, very kind and welcoming - he helped us with everything and gave us recommendations for moving around the city. The room was lovely, very clean and perfectly renovated. The shower is working perfectly, and the bed is very comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. Quiet area, lovely views from the balcony. The shared kitchen and balcony + living room space add comfort to Casa Mais.

Great spacious room and en suite. Fabulous host who was able to give us all the information and recommendations we asked for. Peaceful area, walkable to the historic centre (20 mins at a wander). Kitchen facilities shared between four rooms but ample space and facilities.

40 min walk from the city centre. Not a problem for us, bot something to consider.
The host was very nice, communication was easy. Private parking. We could wash our clothes for free. Kitchen and living room available.

Welcoming, clean and warm environment, the host was very responsive when needed, the room was comfortable, the kitchen had everything one needs for a short stay, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed being there visiting Brasov.

First of all the hospitality was AMAZING. The staff were super kind, warm and very helpful. The room was super duper clean, amazing and very comfortable and warm. Everything was super. Obviously if I will come to Braşov I will stay at this place !

The host was very friendly and responsive. The location is easy to find. It is about 20 minutes walk from both the train station and the bus station if you want to take the bus to Bran. There is a mini mart for basic groceries a few houses up the road. There are small eateries and other supermarkets a few minutes walk away. The room and bathroom were a good size and comfy. There is a shared kitchen for all you basic needs: pots, oven, cutlery, coffee. Internet works fine in the bedroom. Quiet area.

Loved everything!
A very cozy place with welcoming hosts. They greeted us very warmly, and we felt right at home. The room is excellent. There is a large living room with a TV and a kitchen in the common area. Everything is very neat, clean, and comfortable. We'll definitely be coming back :)

Everything was just fine. Clean, well equipped place. Close to bus station, not far away from city center. But you can find restaurants and shopping centers nearby too. Very nice personal presentation of the room. I just recommend it!

Maybe the jacuzzi, we specifically ordered the room with jacuzzi but it did not work(
We really liked the mini hotel. Everything was clean, stuff were very friendly, we got also free water. Nice private parking spot in the yard

The place is located in a quiet neighbourhood near the train station and just a short walk from the city centre. The host was really helpful and provided us with extra info on public transportation.

What a great stay at Casa Mais. The hosts were WONDERFUL. I had 28 days to explore Brasov and the surrounding area, the hosts really made me feel at home. The rooms,lounge,shared kitchen and dining area were very clean and well maintained. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful. In fact they helped get my phone back that I had left in the Bolt car. What a relief, the Bolt driver and Casa Mais made my day. I couldn't have done without their help. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Mais for any amount of time while in Brasov.

Very hospitable owner, polite and kind. The room is clean, tidy, I liked everything. So far the best hostel in Bucharest. If I come to the city again, I will definitely stay with you. Thanks a lot!
