How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing. It’s all excellent.
Lovely hotel. The location is absolutely perfect being a very short walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and bright. The breakfast was great with good tea he of choices. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The parking spaces (you must book in advance) at the front of the hotel make it just perfect. We had a wonderful stay.

Parking issue and location of the breakfast ,
Staff was very friendly. We arrived late at night and we were with a baby and they put a cot to the room and made our check in very easy .

The breakfast- like most places in Romania nothing for celiacs. Not for those who find stairs difficult either

We weren’t offered much information at check-in. It would have been good to have information on where breakfast was, what time, and details of the excursion we had booked through the property, pick up time/location/who we should pay.
The location of the property was excellent. Being close enough to all the sites but set back from the bustle of the more central streets. The property was very accommodating to my requests of a top floor, quiet room and helped to set up a tour for us to Bran Castle and the Bear sanctuary.

We booked a deluxe room which we later discovered was in the attic: 2 flights of stairs with no lift might be an issue to some people.
The hotel is in a great position right behind the main square, along a busy street, but the room was not noisy at all. Both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Good buffet breakfast in the morning, mostly savoury. Parking is available at an additional cost and must be booked in advance (otherwise parking in this part of the town might be an issue). It's coveniently located right in front of the entrance.

All was fine. It may be difficult to find parking spaces since the accommodation is right in the city center, but the staff is nice and they will do their best to help you.
Wonderful location, on a quiet street, just 3 minutes away from the central square. Nice room, big, clean and cozy. Nice and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast.

We did not have parking spot and it is quite challenging to find one in Brasov.
The property is clean and it has beautiful rooms. It is really cosy and it is located in the central area, very close to Strada Sforii and Biserica Neagra.

We didn’t get a parking space which was rather disappointing. Had to find somewhere else to park and carry our suitcases.
Nice, clean property with friendly staff. Small selection for breakfast; however, the food wasn’t bad. Good location.

The building does not have an elevator and we got a room on the top floor. The staff was very helpful with our luggage but going up and down on the stairs was difficult. Next time we’ll ask for a room on the lower level.
Location is wonderful and the staff is awesome. The breakfast was good too.

They were flexible in terms of check-in/out hours (we arrived after midnight and left after noon). The room was clean. There was parking available right in front of the house (paid during day hours).

Nothing to say, everything was good.
The location is perfect, walking distance to the centre plaza and the park. The rooms are so cozy and feel like in past, but pleasant past (like 1880 - 1890 😊 ). Rooms are clean, with everything you nees for a travel.

It didn't affect us as we only had light luggage but there isn't a lift so be aware if travelling with big suitcases

That there was no lift. I understand that the accommodation is in an old building and probable could not accommodate one.
The location was perfect, so close to the main area of Brasov. Our accommodation was very secure and very clean. The breakfast selection was very good and reception was very helpful when asked anything.
