How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

That the check-in was at 4 pm.
The location is perfect. Very easily to reach by walking the old city of Brasov. Very clean room, the personnel very friendly.

Though, tastes differ, the bed was somewhat hard.
The hotel is located in a quiet area in a 10-12 minutes’ walk from the medieval part of the city. Rooms are clean the staff is very hospitable and helpful.

There was no air conditioning, only a fan. But it wasn't very hot during the night
It was a bit tricky to find the entrance, but the location of the hotel is very good. There's enough space in the room, big comfortable shower. The breakfast was classic, but very tasty. The lady from reception was very helpful

The hotel is on 5-10 minutes walking distance from the old town and the restaurants. It's old building but very well renovated and keeps the spirit of the old imperial ages. The breakfast was good and offers plenty of coffee types, that is unusual for 3 star hotel and standard filter coffee. WiFi is working in the whole hotel and have very good coverage without lags and interruptions. The room was clean and enough spacious for short stay. Bathroom was clean also with quality Italian shampoo/soap.

an excellent property, refurbished. the breakfast is exceptional with plenty of coffee and hot food items (bacon, smoked sausage, crenvursti) and different breads, including multigrain, French baguettes, croissant, and German (kaiserbrot and others), sweets biscuits, fresh fruit including watermelon, tomato with basil and fresh mozzarella, etc. Low lighting gives the property a cozy feel - would be perfect for a fall or summer getaway. Fridge in the room - very efficient. Not a speck of dust. Self check-in options (door code). I will return.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful! It’s located in a quiet area and offers free outdoor parking. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large too, with hot water. Breakfast was varied and definitely worth the price. I usually skip hotel coffee, but here it was great! The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and only regret not being able to stay longer.

The room was a bit small and it was furbished in an a bit of old style. But it was still fine for two nights. The room does not have air conditioning, could be hot in summer, luckily it was a bit rainy so the room temperature was OK.
It is in walking distance to the old city centre (10-15 minutes of walk). Free parking was available in front of the hotel. The room ans the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

We were here in a quite warm period, so the rooms are as well. Air condition would have been welcome.
Breakfast was superb and served by polite and smiling staff. B&B was close to city center and attractions.

Matras was a little hard. There was no water cooker.
Very spacious room with a homely feel on a peaceful street close to the old town. Also above average were the big bathroom and shower and the breakfast, which was excellent with different kinds of fresh bread and delicious coffee. Staff was very friendly and all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

All good, no issues
We really loved the friendly and helpful staff, Lorena was very accommodating to our requests. The rooms and bathroom are very spacious and spotlessly clean. The accommodation is also in a quiet part of town, and a good location between Old Town and railway station.

The pillows were too soft.
The room had an extra bed for 1 kid . There was a parking space, which in Brasov is valuable. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and nice.

the only thing we didn't like was the arrival instructions. They were sent by Whatsapp on the arrival day but we didn't know that and as I was driving I didn't know. There is no sign on the building to say it is a B&B and other arrivals had the same confusion as us. We solve it by calling the number of the booking. As soon as we were in, then everything was excellent. So, just send the arrival instructions the evening before so we know what to do next time
Good choices for breakfast with excellent coffee. Location is grea, about 15 minutes walk from the old town. Free parking outside but you have to move one of the Parking Reserved cones (the parking is reserved for you). Also a good Italian restaurant only a few minutes walk away (might need to book).

There is nothing that you don’t like everything is just good
