Breakfast was poor. We were told breakfast finished at 10.30 and at 9.15 there was very little food left.

We had two rooms booked. One had a beautiful view with lots of sun, while the other room was dark, opened to a narrow interior opening. Would not call it a courtyard, but the purpose is to provide light to those inner rooms. When booking, try to avoid these inner rooms or make sure they cost you much less than the others. There was no prior notice that the rooms would have such differences.

Excellent location, some rooms have a wonderful view. Nice interior, comfortable rooms with a good restaurant downstairs with a terrace on the theater square

The recently renovated rooms are extraordinary, but the standard rooms clearly need improvement, particularly in the furniture, wallpaper, and bathrooms, where, despite the new furniture, the smell of sewage was difficult to bear.

The hotel has impressive architecture and is located right in the city center, close to all tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helped us with any questions we had, and the breakfast was very good. We would like to return, but we will definitely choose one of the renovated rooms.

An elite accommodation, old school luxury style. Pompously designed, you feel like a lord of the manor. Super central. One of my favorite places in Oradea. Some rooms were recently remodeled, the bathroom was amazing.

The property certainly need some maintenance. Elevator buttons, bathroom fittings etc. These are small things but makes a big difference for overworked staff and guest both.

Location is perfect, it is quiet even after being in city center. Liked the hotel room, and the amenities provided. Breakfast was decent and the staff was cooperative and empathetic at all levels.

We had insects in the room, the staff explained that the pest control had token place two days earlier. All we received were excuses. And the terrace was dusty and sticky. I really don’t understand…. The view was extraordinary beautiful. Why do they not spend more time/energy to make it perfect?!! It’s a 4star hotel though… And the shower didn’t worked properly. It’s a pity really, the hotel has very much potential, our room was spacious ….. the architecture is also beautiful and the mix with old and new I found it very interesting.

The location is very beautiful, staff friendly, but at leaving they’ve extra charged us for a drink that we didn’t consumed. I hope that this was a misunderstanding. For the rest they were helpful.

We had a very nice stay at the Astoria Hotel, the location is so convenient, our room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the staff very helpful. We will return to this hotel, on our next trip to Oradea.x

The shower didn't work properly, the bathroom needs overall improvement! Breakfast had a limited number of choices. For a 4* hotel we expected at least coffee in the room and complimentary water -- neither one was available.

I didn't like the parking of the hotel. I arrived in the afternoon, and I barely found a parking place. There was an event, and all the places were occupied by the guests of event. When I mentioned that, the answer was - it happens when there are events, but I can move my car later if I want. Perhaps, this can be improved

The hotel is located in inner centre. The room quite comfortable, having a view directly to square and Theatre. The breakfast could be improved by having more fruits and more options to choose, but overall was good.

The card payment did not work, so we had to pay in cash, which was tough.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were small, but silent, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was in average. The location was just perfect.
