How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

My stay at Casa Armonia was simply wonderful. The guesthouse sits in a tranquil garden setting, surrounded by apple trees,cats, deers and flowers—a perfect escape from the bustle, yet just a short walk from Bran Castle. Our room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable, with thoughtful traditional touches mixed with modern conveniences. It featured a balcony, walk‑in shower, fresh linens, and even slippers. The free Wi‑Fi was reliable, and common spaces—including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge, and sun terrace—made us feel right at home. We also appreciated the picnic and barbecue facilities for relaxing outdoors. What made the stay truly memorable was the exceptional hospitality: the hosts, Mr. Mihai and Alina, greeted us with homemade treats and were always available with helpful local tips and warm conversation—making us feel like cherished guests rather than just visitors. Would definitely stay again—ideal for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for tranquil charm near Bran.

If you're visiting the Bran Castle, this is an excellent guest house to stay at. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Castle (I'd recommend taking the dirt road to walk: leaving the house, turn left down the hill and then the first left). Excellent comfort and very welcoming hospitality. And you're close to the tourist part of town, but it feels like a world away. I'd suggest bringing something to make yourself for breakfast, as there's a nice guest kitchen, but no breakfast served. Don't miss the national museum in town: it's cheap, and a better experience than the castle itself.

The sun was bright in the morning, so thicker curtains would be helpful.
The hosts were charming and it was updated, tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. The shower was nice. We really appreciated the sparkling water, peanuts and candy. And we loved meeting the cats!

Nothing really. It was great.
Mihai was so great. The room was exactly what we expect. The area was wonderful. We parked our car when we got there and walked to town when we wanted to. All the animals were wonderful.

Casa Armonía is a beautiful and peaceful guest house. Walking distance from Bran but it is like staying on a cabin in the woods. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive.

Clean, quiet and cats - nothing else is needed. The owners were nice and responsive, the kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home. 😁 Mr. Mihai made a route for us to return home in such a way that we could take full advantage of all the beauties of the area.

The housing was beautiful! Wonderful garden that looked like a fairytale day and night. It had everything a person needs and more! It was clean and smelled nice, the decorations were creative and traditional. Placement was great, in a quiet forest, just 14 minute walk from the castle. The host was kind, and they had very cute and cuddly cats! Hope to return soon :)

The house is decorated with a personal touch and is very cosy. It is all surrounded by many flowers and plants, and lovely cats. Loved the swings and the relaxing terrace. The hosts are warm people, we thank them for their attentive gifts (mineral water and snacks in the room, coffee, and the nice homemade cake offered).

Accomodation in a stunning location. Beautiful house fully equipped, clean and very comfortable room. The hosts, Mr Mihai and his wife were extremely friendly, helpful and the most hospitable people we've ever met. We'll definitely come back again and stay with them if they have us. Thank you Mr Mihai for all the fresh, local food and treats and your hospitality.

All good.
Armonia is an amazing place if you want to experience authentic Transilvania nature and hospitality and you also want to be close to Bran Center. The orchard is a great place to have a cill walk and I saw the Bran Castle from it. The staff is very welcoming and is ready to help. I definitely recommend this place and i am looking forward to coming back. Ps: I love the coziness of the rooms.
