    “Nice hostel. Location is ok, very quiet, near to shops & train station. Nice that you can cook, limited utensils but very manageable. Good fridge space. Fab that it has free washing machine, but no outside drying space ( inside where trash is kept, rather smelly!) bed space good, but mattress extremely firm 😒. Showers good. Wi-Fi good. Clean enough in areas.”

    “A short walk from the Jiaoxi train station and the Jiaoxi Hotel Spring Park where the Japanese-style Forest Bath onsen is. The owner is a friendly man who allowed me to check in early and gave me a room upgrade. There was also a washing machine in the lobby, which I didn't use. The biggest highlight was the big tub in the room, allowing you to soak in a hot spring right in the comfort of your room. I was a little concerned about the noise from the train tracks, based on other reviews. But as a light sleeper, I found that the noise was soft, and lasted less than 10 seconds each time. I didn't hear any noise between 9pm and 8am, so it didn't disrupt my rest too. All in all a great place to stay!”

    “It's always great to stay in a theme park, and we were lucky that during our stay this time, the theme park (National Centre for Traditional Art) extended their opening hour and had night time shows to enjoy. The breakfast was also phenomenal.”

    “Staff were polite and attentive. I could only book the Japanese style family room as the western style rooms were fully booked. The Japanese style family room does not provide chairs with legs so it is inconvenient for guests who have difficulties to get up from the seats which are floor-levelled. Therefore, I took one chair from the balcony to the room and took the stool at the entrance for guests to sit on when they put on their shoes to the sitting room. When we returned from dinner, we found that the staff had given us two more chairs (they put the stool back to the entrance). It was nice of them. Buffet dinner was good. The staff at the swimming pool were friendly and helpful. They let guests to wrap their bodies with the towels from the swimming pool area to get back to hotel rooms to prevent guests from catching a cold. So warm and considerate!”
