    “The owner, Shingo, is a very kind and helpful person, and a great host to the guests. The guest house is very central, right next to the ferry. It’s a new place, everything is well done, cosy, and there’s a great atmosphere among the guests. I really liked the dormitory and slept very well. Thank you, Shingo”

    “Very convenient location, there is FamilyMart nearby, and local supermarket is not far. Two cute cats which my kids like a lot. Enveronment is very comfortable especially the public share area. Hosts are kind and willing to help people, give a lot of good advise of exploring the city.”

    “Great location near town but not too near (you will most probably hire a car but its not absolutely essential). Lovely, fully equipped room easily big enough for a family of 4. Right on the beach. An exceptionally friendly, helpful and hospitable family own and run this pension. The owner also has a lovely boat so can take you to great snorkelling spots for a reasonable fee. My son injured his finger quite badly (shut it in a door) during the visit and the owner and his son, without the need to be asked, drove us to the local hospital and did all the translation work to get him patched up in no time. If i ever get back to Ishigaki (which is paradise in my view) I will be staying here again.”

    “We stayed during the off-season in early September and had the best summer holiday with them. There’s a terrace downstairs with an exceptional view of Kabira, and the facilities were spotless. Most of all, the owner and his family truly made our stay special—they lit up our entire holiday in Kabira. I’ve never met such kind and accommodating people. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience the local vibe and enjoy snorkeling or diving, as they’re experienced divers themselves.”
