“Good quality hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, good shower.
Free public parking a short walk past the hotel.
Staff very friendly. 15 minute walk into the town.”
“Very nice and cosy conveniently fitted maisonette with a large terrace at the end of the main house's garden. It is secluded enough to feel private, and be used without bothering anybody. The bedroom is very nicely decorated. The house is only ten minutes walk from the beach, and two minutes from the main market place. Many free parking spaces around. It is very quiet, if you can cope with the seagulls, which should be expected on the seaside. A great place to stay.”
“Lovely room with terrace so we enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the peaceful setting.
The fan in the room was a great touch and was needed.
The Led shower that changed colour as you used it was a surprise and good fun. Location was perfect for a visit to Puy de Fou, and now we can say we've stayed in a Chateau!”
“Great communication. Onsite support via the owner, even the lending of extra items when in need! So appreciated. The chalet was perfect and comfortable for 4 nights. We came end of season so it was quieter, which we liked.
Great swimming pool and slides which all the family enjoyed. The heated pool is the indoor one, and we were a little disappointed it was closed for our last afternoon.
We walked to the village one afternoon which is packed full of shops, patisserie and more. Remember they are generally closed 12.30 to 2 in low season. Then on to the beach at Jard sur mer. With 4 small children we found the best value for money which is unlimited time can be found at the
amusement arcade. 27 euros all day for 4 kids on bouncy castles, water slide, ball pit and more. No paying for 14s and over ( but obvs no access on items!)Kids had a great
time while teens and adults took it in turns to walk the front.
The best beach we found is 18 mins away at plage des conches. Fab surfing and waves for the older teens and great for thrills for the littlies.
Would be happy to return.”
“It’s a beautiful property, with an excellent finish - full of comfortable areas to relax, read or have a drink. Very centrally located, and fantastic views of the port and the castle.”
