“The location, upkeep, maintenance, size. Everything. It was a wonderful experience to stay somewhere where the hosts were openly helpful and so professional at the same time. The presentation of everything from the rooms to the shared spaces and food presentation was excellent. We arrived by bicycle so after riding 200 km and struggling to get to the Island because of the tide, we were happy to be greeted with being asked if we wanted dinner in the restaurant. Plus being offered help with the best way to leave with our bicycles because of high tide, helped us plan the trip going forward. Truly an unforgettable stay. Thank you.”

“While this is a hostel (with bunk beds in the room that we had) it does not feel like a regular hostel. Our room was pristinely clean and bright, with all the facilities that we needed. The shared cooking and eating facilities were generously sized and well-equipped. The property has loads of character. The staff were fantastic - warm and engaging and very happy to chat about the local area. The free bikes for use by guests were a real bonus and the location, just across from the water and a ten minute walk from the beach, is superb.”
