    “What a gem of a hotel. It has been decorated and thought about to make ones stay comfortable and homely. Everything you need is supplied - for example they even had a shaving/ make up mirror that could be moved to sit at the dressing table. All of the products are high quality - tea/coffee/ toiletries and toilet paper. The owner who checked us in was funny and charming - even offering to book us a table at a local restaurant. They have a small patio garden which again has been beautifully decorated and planted so you can have your morning tea outside. A great location so easy to access everywhere. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.”

    “Great sea view so definitely get a room with sea view. The room was presentable, clean and had all the usual hotel room essentials. Really liked breakfast and it ran until 10.30 which meant no need to get up early - also, staff were always topping up the food so nothing ever ran out and with little or no queues for the food and drink. It's probably just a me thing but I like the old style elevator, the dark and dimly lit wood surrounds, the old patterned carpet and that rich earthy smell of history and character. It feels like you are in a story!”
