“The house was very large and quirky, with 2 full bedrooms (2 doubles), and 1 kids room (loft has a double bed, and a child's bed below). Very beautifully decorated by the owners, with lots of whimsical souvenirs and touches. It's clearly a loved family home. We didn't use the garden or the winter terrace as it was too hot, but lots of space for the 6 of us. House was clean, with lots of books and Netflix to entertain the kids, and everything else you need: hairdryer, many spices and seasonings in the kitchen etc. Wifi didn't work when we arrived but it was very quickly fixed: great response time from the house manager Jessica, home owner Simon, and also one of the neighbours popped around to pass us Simon's number too. I worked from home on one day and the wifi was fast and could support video calls.
It was a scorcher weekend with temperatures outside hitting 30 degrees, but inside the house remained cool.
Very quiet location, but 10' walk away from some fantastic restaurants in the middle of the village, 10' drive away from Golfclub Basel, 40' drive away from Mulhouse and 25' drive from Basel Stadt. Simon was also kind enough to allow us a later checkout which was much appreciated.
I would stay again if I came back to the area.”
