    “Since we were almost at the end of our holiday we decided to spend a bit more and having stayed at Mercure in the UK, we knew what to expect. A well furnished and comfortable hotel overlooking a golf course, clean and more up-market than most of the places we had stayed on our road trip. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was nice, albeit smelling strongly of cleaning product when we arrived. The isolated location meant either a drive into town or eat in the restaurant; we chose the second option and weren't disappointed. Service was very good and the food was too. Largely what we expected, a comfortable and more luxurious place to stay.”
