“I got the recommendation from Lonely Planet and can only echo what they say. The have a covered dining terrace with various flours with a great view over Kangding and on Paoma Shan.
I really enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast.
The personal is very friendly. They showed me around in Kangding on their free time and also arranged a driver for my trip to Tagong.
If you are arriving from lower altitude, I would recommend to take a taxi as it is a little further up from the city center but therefore”
“The room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping service. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the hotel staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit!”
“The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was even a cute cat around the property, which gave the place a homely feel. The location was excellent—very close to the main tourist spot of Emeishan, which made visiting the mountain very convenient.”
“Good value for money - like a B&B had a lovely room with a balcony. The owner was helpful and friendly.
Good location within walking distance of town and places to visit - pandas and qingcheng mountain”
“This is not a hotel, it is something else. If you want a high level of hospitality and want to see the daily life of a sweet and decent chinese family, it is your pick. I felt wonderful, Koko is eager to watch your needs, she is indeed fantstic. There is a balkony to have a rest in the evening. I highly recommend this house.”
“The position is perfect, near the entrance of the giant buddha. They cannot speak English however give us tips for the visit. The visit required more than 3h and we start at 7:30am.”
“Everything! The family running the hotel was very welcoming and they delighted me with snacks, fruits, and tea on multiple occasion during my short stay. Cheng spoke good English and helped me get to Qingcheng mountain. He even gave me rides on his car to the bus/train station for no extra charge. The breakfast with a fantastic selection of local delicacies was the best I had during my two and a half week trip in China.”
