    “What a view! Walking out onto the terrace takes your breath away, it is well worth the car ride up those winding roads! The breakfast is simple but tasty, the rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom modern with a great shower (the soap smells amazing!!). We had the evening meal twice on a 4 night stay, served family style so everyone sits on a large table…I understand this is not to everyone’s taste however we literally met people from all over the world and shared travel tips and stories of our home towns, even the most anti social can be drawn in! By far the best thing here were the staff, Paulo sorted out restaurant reservations and a wine tasting of which he was bang on. The cleaners and everyone we came across were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, please make the effort to smile and say good morning, you get it back 10 fold! Please also try and stay for more than one night, so many people were there for less than 24hrs and they missed out on just being able to sit and take it all in.”

Rui and Beatriz made us so welcome and gave us lots of information and fascinating history about their vineyard and their background in keeping the grape growing and wine making process going.
