“Whilst nothing to look at from the outside, this family run business was outstanding in every way.
An absolute hidden gem- and the restaurant was absolutely full (of locals?) even on a Wednesday night.
It’s worth staying here just for the food- the “tasting menu” if really just an opportunity to try some fantastic home cooking by a clearly talented chef, and you can hardly believe the extensive wine list for such a small establishment.
We were recommended a €30 red as we were on a budget, and it was outstanding- showed up as £27/bottle in the UK so phenomenal value for money.
We also started with a couple of (very) generous glasses of a local sparkling wine at €5.50 and it was delicious too.
Conveniently located for the town centre, and comfortable rooms.
Try it- you’ll not be disappointed.”
“We travelled La Morra for the Mangialonga, and wanted a place to stay that was central, close to parking, and good value. Blueberry Rooms met all our needs. It is simply furnished, has AC (a must for the summer, keeping the mozzie out, and filtering the noise. Fabio, our host, was cheerful and helpful. Great value for money.”
“The atmosphere and charm of the building, including garden and chapel, and the simple aesthetic of the room (including the lovely view, the extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the central location. And the screens on the windows….hard to find, and calm and quiet.”
“We were very happy with our suite. The hotel is almost brand new with lovely modern decor. Situated on a quiet street a very short walk to the main shopping and tourism area. We tried both restaurants and they were both nice. The staff are very friendly and the room was cleaned every day, they even restock the fridge, so I had a cold beer each day when I returned. Sitting on the balcony with a cold beer watching the world go buy was a treat. In the basement there is small pool with sauna and steam room, again this is like new. Very modern and stylish and a great way to relax after a day out.
We would 100% recommend this hotel.”
“Room was very large, so was the bathroom and the kitchen made available. We were also provised with a coffee machine and many capsules, as well as bottled water and some snacks at no additional cost. Host was very nice and helpful, also have us some tips on getting around. But what really set it apart was how clean it was. I've been to many hotels and b&bs around the world, and can say without exageration that L'Oasi Amena may have had the cleanest bathroom I've ever been in! Rest of the room was also spotless.
Overall, great place to stay if you want to visit Lago'Orta (6 minutes away by car) and not pay a lot for a tiny room.”
