    “Stunning location. Epic scenery. A little piece of heaven. Cardini restaurant wonderful. Mule tracks up into the mountains. Peaceful Someraro to explore. SAF bus to/from Stresa/Baveno ferry (3-4 daily). Room well equipped with microwave and fridge. Very warm welcome from our host, always helpful and easy to contact. Grazie mille!”

    “The air-conditioned holiday apartment is located in a lovingly renovated old building in a peaceful village right next to a church. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful and was available for any questions at any time. Especially nice was the packed breakfast basket, which contained a basic supply of coffee, tea, milk, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and pastries for our entire stay. Wine could be purchased in the apartment on a self-pay basis. In the apartment itself, there is a microwave, a Nespresso machine, and a large refrigerator, but no cooking facilities and no sink, which we did not find too problematic. For delicious food, the Osteria La Pernice Rossa in the neighboring village is highly recommended. From Grondona, many excursion destinations in Piedmont or Liguria are very easy to reach. For example, we really enjoyed a hike from Vobbia in Liguria to the Castello della Pietra, followed by lunch at the restaurant Ristorante Zuccarino Sonia in Vobbietta (which unfortunately closed at 4 PM). We would love to come back.”
