“JA Tennoji Hotel is a staff-less hotel close to Tennoji subway station. It lies in a quiet neighbourhood, facing an elevated motorway but nestled among old houses. The rooms are large enough to fit luggage and the bathroom is the usual Japanese-business-hotel type.”
“Breakfast was very good, there was a good variety of foods to choose from, and many nice hot drinks. It was my last day in Japan and it was a good one!”
“Great experience in the Annex private house, enjoying the open-air Hot spring made of wood (very pleasant) with direct view of the river that runs alongside the house. Falling asleep to the sound of the river has been very pleasant too. The top-notch service is provided in perfect English (bilingual) with the old-fashioned charm one dreams of. The family is lovely and very classy. Beautiful garden, large swimming pool, massage available on request, what else? Thank you very much for your delightful and top-notch welcome. By the way, the young lady working the evening shift is a rising gem who has twice come to the rescue of her colleague who doesn't speak English. Well done to her!”
“Excellent value for money, friendly welcome and very clean and comfortable in a quiet street within easy walking distance of the busy restaurant and bar areas.”
“JA Hotel NAmba South is a staff-less business hotel without too many frills, but clean and spaciuos. The area is not particularly interesting, but its at walking distance from Tengachaya Station ,where you can get both the subway both the direct train to Kansai Airport, thus extremely convenient for transportation. In front of the station there is also a large supermarket. The area is super quiet at night, so sleep is assured.”
“We had a wonderful experience. We had a sudden change of circumstance which meant we could only stay for one of three nights that we had booked and prepaid. I explained the situation to the staff at reception and then made a request via Booking.com for the change. The reception staff said they would process a refund, which was done the next morning. Thankyou Hotel Hankyu.”
“⸻
I stayed at Nome Osaka, and it was by far the best hotel I experienced in Japan. The view from the window was simply breathtaking, and the room itself was spotless, with a modern, minimalist, and beautiful interior.
The location is perfect – very close to Osaka Castle and within easy reach of other attractions. Breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious and satisfying, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’m already planning to come back in the future. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka! 🌸✨”
