    “Our stay at this historic home in Roseburg was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were touched by the hosts’ warmth and thoughtfulness. They welcomed us with genuine kindness, asked if we had eaten, helped us choose a restaurant, and even let us select our own room. Every detail of the house is beautifully arranged, filled with history and surprises that made the experience so special. Breakfast was another highlight—freshly prepared by the host himself with such care and heart. What moved us even more was that they played Chinese songs during breakfast, which made us feel warmly connected and truly at home. This thoughtful gesture, along with everything else they did, reflects the Japanese spirit of “Ichigo Ichie”—treasuring each unique encounter as once-in-a-lifetime. We left with unforgettable memories and a deep sense of gratitude for the hospitality we received. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Roseburg, and we hope to return one day!”

    “Best place we stayed at during our 4-week trip. The hosts and the rest of the staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. The lodge has everything you need: clean rooms, a fully equiped shared kitchen, a laundry room, fitness room, jacuzzis. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, so many homemade things. Do not skip this accommodation!”

    “The Evermore Guesthouse was our first stop on our trip through the American Northwest and we found it a great place to relax and recover from our jetlag. The room was very large and, despite the heat, cool and comfortable. The house itself is beautiful and we felt right at home. The property is close (within walking distance) to a street with restaurants, some shops and a few food carts (Division Street). It’s also well accessible from the main road and we found ourselves in downtown Portland in no time at all. There was plenty of parking at the property. There are many options for breakfast and you can decide to eat at a larger dinner table (like we did), so you can strike up a conversation with fellow travelers.”
