“The host is super nice and friendly. We got great advise for the next couple of days on what to do and where not to go in order to avoid getting attacked by the bears...”
“Wonderful host, and great food. They were happy to accomadate dietary requirements. Its kept very clean and organised, and the room was a good size to fit all in. They have a good collection of games and manga and a TV, and a few kitchen essentials. It's also a perfect location for Shiretoku national Park. They also gave us a stamp! Would reccomend.”
“The onsen is amazing and the views are great. There is a fairly equipped kitchen (no knives, you have to ask for them at reception, rest is ok).
The lobby is very stylish.”
“Probably the best equipped apartment we've stayed in. Lots of room, very comfortable beds, clean, and well-organised with very clear instructions on how to use each of the many appliances. Infact, this apartment was the best thing about our otherwise underwhelming stayi in Bihoro”
“I didn't expect much when I decided to stay here as I was going to use it as a sleeping place. If you look here from the map, it feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. However, the place itself has anything you would need for a travel: Laundry, shower, kitchen etc... Every item in the house is modern. Instructions are very clear.
The owner of the place is I think is in his 30s. He was very friendly and casual so I was mentally comfortable as well. He offered to give me a car ride to a touristic place near 網走 (Abashiri) because it was raining. He also gave me two cans of coffee on the morning for free.
He was also honest and frank about the location of the place. It is not good for tourism. I hope you will like him as well.
I can speak Japanese but there are English and Chinese instructions on everything so I don't think you are going to have a problem. The owner said there are lots of foreigners that stay there.”
