“The staff and owners were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were huge and so comfy. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and a massive choice. Our location was ideal. It’s basic and very typical Swiss pine but we don’t mind as it’s typical of Switzerland, so don’t judge.”
“Came to do some cycling in the area, and needed a place to stay for a few nights. Hotel Nufenen was ideally located for this, at the foot of the Furka, Grimsel, and Nufenen Pass climbs, with terrific scenery and a water fountain just outside. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, I was able to dine here in the evenings and there was plenty on offer for breakfast. The room had a very cosy alpine feel to it, so I was very happy! Also had secure storage for bikes!”
