“While the rooms are located in the hill, the location is still pretty good since they are near the main street with tours and restaurants. Staff was always available and it gave a better sense of safety.”
“Our room was very nice, the bathroom very large and with hot water.
The garden is stunning and in the common area you can always take coffee, tea and fresh water.
The second night we also had dinner there with a home made mei goreng with fried tempeh, delicious and very cheap.
I totally recommend this place to everyone, quality/price definitely worth it.”
“The hotel is located in a beautiful valley with stunning views of the lake. Enjoying the sunrise from the balcony was magical. The room is simple but comfortable, and the food is traditional, tasty, and very affordable. The staff, especially Fred, is always attentive and willing to help, which makes the stay feel very local and authentic.”
“Everything is perfect. Got free shuttle & breakfast. The staffs are very friendly. Even I reached the homestay at late night because of day trip island, the owner was giving me some dinner. I will repeat again this homestay if I am visiting again Labuan Bajo.”
“Sun Rice Homestay doesn't feel as homely like a homestay because there are comparatively many guests, and most of them only stay one night. However, staying there is a wonderful experience, and the family is very nice.
You'll get to eat together with the other guests in traditional sarongs, and they offer tours and help wherever possible. Also the view from the roofed terrace is very nice. I did the sunrise rice field trek which is no trekking at all but a stroll with many long photo stops and very pretty. Since they're booked out a lot and if you want a more personal experience, Ruteng Hostel ist a great alternative.”
“You get 2 bottles of water for free. The toilet, shower and sink are separate, which is nice. There is a nice little outside Terrace area. There are nice duvet and pillows. The Price vs. Quality is good. It is super easy to Rent a Scooter with the owners for several days. We are also really grateful for the fact that we could leave our big bags here, while we were travelling through Flores Inlands (wae rebo day trip, waterfall, etc.). There were also cheap restaurants 5minutes away in scooter.”
