“A nice place for holiday and have a nice day /weekend near nature.
Not recommended for business travel. Fra away from city, insufficient road to drive on.”
“It is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the main city rush, perfect place to be close to nature and enjoy the lake and swim and enjoy the summer nature. Public transport is nearby, but definitely worth it to have your own car to get in there. The room size is also perfect for family as well.”
“We stayed in the cabin for 4 nights in August. The location is remotely located and can be reached via a well drivable gravel road. It is located directly adjacent to a small lake and it's very quite. The cabin has everything available (incl. Shampoo, washing powder, coffee, oben, Microwave, AC, etc.). We traveled with 2 adults and 2 kids, and it was on the edge of being ok for us. If kids sleep well and easy, it is no problem.
The cabin is on the ground of the owner with his wife and kids and he is really polite and helpful in any regards. Communication via chat was very easy and quick.
The cabin has its own landing bridge with a comfortable lounge to sit down and enjoy the lake view. There is also another (public?) landing bridge with a small beach located 40m next to the house, where you an enter the lake easily for a swim or use the stand up paddle board provided.
Next by, there is plenty of nature to walk in and explore.
Just keep in mind that the closest city with a decent amount of restaurant is about 20 min drive away. I think, a car is mandatory here.
Overall, we and especially the kids enjoyed the stay very much and I can fully recommend this place if you want to enjoy some days off in the nature and quietness.”
“A wonderful little gem to explore Alingsås from! Clean facilities, very central, a stone throw away from beautiful hiking paths along the lakes, stores, and the hosts were warm and welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”
“Super friendly hosts and atmosphere. We appreciated that there were items like a hairdryer + shampoo and balsam in the bathroom and the kitchen was stocked with cooking oil, salt+pepper and even coffee which would be wasteful to buy in full-size when only staying a few days. Also there was a nice selection of books related to Sweden and the general area around Alingsås, and a cute Sweden puzzle!”
