“The guesthouse is clean and near the station around 8-10mins walk. The staffs were friendly and easy to talk to. One of the staff speaks English which really helpful. The area is also close to Futami Okitama Shrine.”
“Mari is a great host and goes out of her way to treat you well and give you a good experience. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. I got to go to a couple of Mari's farms early in the morning which was beautiful, and also a local onsen. Her farms are organic, and you should be able to try the produce if you have dinner or breakfast there! When I told Mari about my plans for the next day, she even organised with some of her volunteers who were interested in going to the same place to go with me and drive me there, which was really kind and helpful. The surrounding area is peaceful and I really enjoyed it as a quick getaway from the city.”
“Very interesting place. Area of outstanding natural beauty. Guest house has plenty of room, and good facilities.
Hosts are welcoming and helpful.
Recommend an evening visit to local Onsen, see if you can spot the wild turtles in rivers on the way.”
“The host was really nice, he helped me with my luggage for example (there is no elevator in the guesthouse but he carried my luggage up the stairs). The rooms, bathroom, shower and kitchen are clean, nice. The bunk beds are spacious, there's plenty of room for your belongings. Basic amenities are provided. Overall a good experience.”
“Cosy little traditional house. We liked staying there. Centrally located and nearby shops. One big sleeping room with three futons on the floor. Nice kitchen, good bathroom and washing machine.”
“An ancient house with a quiet environment.
At night, you can clearly hear the sound of trains and the faint sound of waves, which is very relaxing!
The owner respects guests very much and gives them complete space for activities.”
“Very spacious, super friendly for a big group of families with young kids. Kids love the kids room and enjoy the board games/books. We will definitely choose Suzuka Inn again”
