“Mansion is situated in a picturesqe street and its locality was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the St. John’s Cathedral. Communication with the host was fast and professional. Room was equipped with hair dryer, microwave, fridge, kettle, an induction hob and a/c.”

“Great family atmosphere, in a nice family house. Rooftop was great on hot days. Paola is very accommodating host. It was great to stay. Small supermarket near by has good quality products, if you want even greater selection for a good price PAMA mall is 15-20 min walk. Less crowded, more green area.”

    “Kindness of Mrs Daniella”

  • “First, the location of Casa Rosanna in Marsaskala is perfect. Within walking distance, you’ll find a wide selection of restaurants, a nearby bus terminus, markets, and St. Thomas’ Bay (beach) just minutes away. I stayed at Casa Rosanna in a single seaside-view room for six days. If you have the option, definitely book the seaside view—watching the sunrise over the bay each morning was the perfect start to the day. The trade-off, however, is that the room also faces a lively street. While the windows do block a good portion of the noise, you’ll still hear some of the nightlife below. The hotel does provide earplugs, but if you’re a light sleeper, I recommend bringing your own. I felt very safe throughout my stay. Casa Rosanna uses a key card system for both the lobby and rooms, so everyone you see inside is a guest. The room itself is simple and compact, which may not suit travelers who like to spread out. If you’re bringing more than a carry-on and personal item, this room might feel cramped. In the washroom, there are no shelves for toiletries or makeup, and while there are plenty of outlets in the room, I did wish there was one in the washroom for using my curling iron. I tried breakfast on two mornings and was pleasantly surprised by the variety: eggs, sausage, cured meats, cheese, cereal, and other staples were on offer each day. The staff were helpful and attentive. One night, a fire alarm evacuation took place, and the owner, Donna, arrived within minutes of being notified. She followed up the next day with both an explanation and an apology, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, a solid stay that I'd recommend to solo travelers or friends visiting the area.”
