    “Small guest-house setup - extremely warm, friendly and helpful hosts made for a really comfortable atmosphere (even for how shy I am!). Spacious, comfortable room, easy access to public parking and great restaurants, and a great hotel-style breakfast selection (on-request the night before rather than buffet-style) out on a lovely terrace overlooking the canal. Easily one of my favourite stays of my life. The view is absolutely the star of the show, a beautiful third-floor overlook of the canal, beautifully lit during the night, but everything else was excellent, too. A trio of very sweet cats live on the top floor where the terrace is - they're separated from the rooms so we didn't have any allergy issues.”

    “Beatrice the host was delightful. She found us some much needed milk for our coffees. We really appreciated the swimming pool as it was hot.The location was perfect for us to attend a wedding at Chateau Barrinques.”

    “Really polite and friendly couple, very helpful and nothing was any problem for them. Facilities in the room were very good, microwave, refrigerator, cutlery etc etc. Very well equipped and the breakfasts were delicious and very good quality. I definitely recommend staying here rather than an expensive hotel with no character. Five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 from me.”

    “We liked everything about our stay at Chambre Avec Vue, even down to the fact that it's named after my favourite film. It's well named too; each room has a stunning view of Carcassonne. Serge and Jean Yves were inspirational hosts and we will definitely be going again. The rooms are beautifully decorated with carefully chosen images and wonderfully curated pieces of furniture.”
