  “Staff in the restaurant were excellent - we had breakfast on three mornings and dinner on one night; food, service and ambience on all occasions were lovely. Thank you to the staff for making meal times a relaxed experience. The view from our room over the lake and having a balcony to enjoy it from was good as well as from the restaurant. Bus transport into Zurich and elsewhere along the lake from very close to the hotel.”

  “The hotel is ideally located on the lake with beautiful views. We stayed in the 3 bed room with the sofa converted to 3rd bed in the attic with lake views. Ideally, it is suited for 2 people with the use of a sofa as you have to bend a lot to get around with the sofa converted to bed. It's a little bit tight for 3 people. The room had a coffee machine, water, and apples. We stayed during the heatwave, and one big fan was provided, which wasn't really enough for 3 of us. The bathroom is rather small but clean. The breakfast was amazing, with lake views from the dining areas. You could eat outside under the grapevines or the main dining area with lake views. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, lattes, available. Excellent choice of breakfast for a 2 star hotel with a good variety of breads, cereals, croissants, yougarts, cheeses, juices, etc. The hospitality was good, though the lady serving tea, coffee was also covering the reception area so was super busy. I felt a bit sorry for her, but she worked like a trooper with a smile on her face throughout. It was EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY.”
