“We stayed in Podere Castel Merlo Resort for only 2 nights. When driving on the driveway that leads to the hotel we were immediately impressed by the +1000 year old building and the surrounding vineyards, just beautiful. When checking in it’s immediately clear that the staff is really helpful with a great eye for detail. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and really clean.
The breakfast is delicious and so is the dinner served by the restaurant.
The hotel has lots of facilities like a pool, sun beds, gym,…. so you can easily spend a day there. It is also a vineyard, so a wine tour with tasting while staying there is a must in our opinion.
The only thing we regret about this stay is not staying longer… we’ll definitely return for a long stay :)”
