  “Amazing views! The floor to ceiling windows let you see the beautiful lake at all times in the room. Beds were comfy, heater works well to keep you warm, and hot shower was nice after a long exploring the island from north to south. We also appreciate the hosts being communicative and helpful, despite our broken Spanish. We had breakfast served in our room which was a perfect start to the day, especially accompanied by the gorgeous sunrise views.”

  “Staying on Isla del Sol was a special experience, and this little hotel made it even better. The room was simple but very clean, comfortable, and tranquil, with stunning views of Lake Titicaca. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the meals we had there were homemade and delicious. When touring Lake Titicaca, spending a night or more on Isla del Sol is an experience you don’t want to miss. Trust me! Visitors should know that life on the island is calm and rustic — there are no cars and you’ll be walking up and down steep paths — so come prepared for simplicity and peace rather than luxury. If you embrace the slower rhythm, this place is truly unique and unforgettable.”

  “This is my second stay at Utasawa. I loved everything about it last time and this time is no different. The rooms are fabulous with the most incredible views. They are beautifully finished and very spacious and comfortable but the best thing about Utasawa is the owner and her family. They can’t do enough for you and are always so friendly and accommodating.”

  “The view from the room was amazing. The owner was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Just an FYI, there were a couple reports of theft at this lodge on Google. There were cameras installed outside, so I think the owner was very proactive in ensuring it didn't happen again and that the guests belongings were protected.”

  “Nice, spacious room, with indoor heating at night/ evening, which is amazing given that as soon as the sun sets in Copacabana, the temperature drops drastically. The heating made it comfortable, and although my shower wasn't very hot, the staff had someone come over and fix the temperature levels pretty quickly, which helped.”
