“Great space and well located for lots of places on Mull. The adjacent hotel is great for food and drink and we were lucky enough to coincide with a flying event so there were plenty of planes to watch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was an EV charger to use.”

“This place is an absolute gem for the price. We were lucky to get a room facing the sea, and I couldn’t have asked for more—the view was stunning to fall asleep to and even more beautiful to wake up to. Jan welcomed us warmly and kindly showed us around the facilities, including a lounge and kitchen available for guests to use. We were provided with 2 single cots in the room, duvets and pillows. I also happened to forget my rings in the washroom and reached out to them afterwards. They immediately returned my call, letting me know they had already been trying to identify the owner. I was touched by their honesty and kindness—they assured me not to worry about postage costs, even though I offered, and asked only for my address so they could send the rings straight to my doorstep. I truly can’t appreciate enough how wonderful and thoughtful they were. The location is perfect, right on the high street with plenty of viewpoints nearby. We explored the area on foot and even managed a morning walk to the lighthouse—2 km felt like a lot for me, but it was absolutely worth it!”

    “Brilliant breakfast”

  • The Tobermory Hotel Review score: 6

“The staff, especially Molly were very friendly and helpful . The bedroom was very small with very little storage or circulation space. There was no seating in the room. The bedside cabinets were suitcases on stands that held the bedside lamps. They looked good but were not practical. Moving around the room was similar to playing a game of chess with one person standing still while the other person moved around the room. The lounge area, adjacent to the bar, was cold and not a comfortable alternative to being in the bedroom.”
