    “Breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan, home made by Host's mother/aunty. Dinner also provided on our first night, again traditional Sri Lankan curries. Udara was a fantastic host, on call 24/7. He arranged tuk tuk's for us, arranged for our Safari into Yala National Park, nothing was too much trouble.”

Here you can have an excellent option to relax and be in full harmony with the nature: quietness, sound of wavy ocean, parrots singing on the cocunt palm next to your spacious villa. The food serving in Mandala noticeably differs from any other place on Sri Lanka. It's very delicious with a professional approach meeting the best standards of taste. Thanks to Ivan, we spent an unforgettable holiday here. He did everything to make our leisure on top level, starting from watching a football match on the big screen till the three cutest puppies which our children played with. It was really fabulous!”

    “Staying at Wild Lotus Yala was nothing short of unforgettable. The property is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the surrounding wilderness while still offering every comfort you could hope for. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and make you feel connected to nature without sacrificing luxury. Waking up to birdsong and the rustle of the forest felt magical. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a special experience. The safari arranged through Wild Lotus was a highlight of my trip. Our guide’s knowledge of Yala’s wildlife was outstanding, and his eye for spotting animals meant we didn’t just see the big attractions, but also appreciated the smaller details of the park’s ecosystem. We managed to tick off 4 out of Yala’s Big 5, including an unforgettable leopard sighting and the joy of watching baby elephants up close. Even though the elusive sloth bear avoided us this time, the whole experience was thrilling and beautifully paced, with the right mix of adventure and respect for the animals. From the property to the safari, Wild Lotus Yala delivered a perfect balance of comfort, adventure, and authenticity. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone wanting the best of Yala, both inside and outside the park”

    “Where to begin? As you take the dirt road from the main road, you wonder where it will end... But then suddenly there's a fantastically beautiful house in an even better location. It's nestled in an oasis of tranquility. The house itself is clean, very spacious, and fully equipped. We enjoyed watching the various beautiful birds in the garden, and from the treehouse, you have a wonderful view of a large lake. There, too, we enjoyed watching everything that flew and moved. But what impressed us most was the family who gave us a warm welcome and cared for us with such loving care. They continuously did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. For us, they epitomize the tremendous hospitality we experienced in Sri Lanka. The food was deliciously freshly prepared and unsurpassed. Watching our children play with their children was also priceless. We would like to thank the family again for an unforgettable time and hope to return someday!”

    “Room and bathroom were so spacious, plenty of room to unpack our suitcases. Bathroom was stocked with toiletries and a hairdryer. Room was beautifully decorated and we had table and chairs out the front to enjoy the morning/evening. Pool was well maintained and the perfect temperature to cool off at the end of the day. The staff organised a full day safari for us that was fantastic- highly recommend leaving the organising to them. They also provided a packed breakfast with no worries of our vegetarian diet. We ate at the accomodation after a day of safari and while it was more expensive than other dinners we have had it was delicious and part of the price Loews on convenience. Highly recommend, all staff were so kind and helpful.”
