Even though we stayed for a short time, we were completely satisfied with both the quality of the services and the staff in all areas! We were finally given a very beautiful modern room on the top floor and the cleaning lady did not hesitate to give us double bath towels and beach towels when we asked her! “The hotel has a wonderful location and we were lucky to have a room in a great position overlooking the pool to one side and with a panoramic view from our balcony of the bay and the mountains.
The cleaning was efficient and we always seemed to have plenty of towels.
The hotel also kindly lent me an exercise mat to enable my floor exercises for my back.
The pool was long and beautiful with several entry steps at angles and nice plants and palm trees. It also had infinity edges overlooking the bay and was 1.2 metres deep throughout so you were never out of your depth.
We hired a car for the week and the hotel makes a good base for visiting the main sites which were all under an hour away. Rhodes town, Monolithos castlle and Butterflies valley were all easily accessible with lovely inland scenery.
It was also nice to be close to Lindos town and the Acropolis.
We had half board at the hotel and the food was wonderful. The chef was very artistic and each evening produced beautiful desserts which were also of a perfect texture and flavour.
My partner is vegan and we chose the hotel partly because it said it could cater for this. He was happy with everything on offer but they went beyond our expectations because Lydia the restaurant manager guided him round all the dishes each evening in consultation with the chef and even arranged special vegan desserts for him. We were very impressed!
On top of this she was so genuinely warm and welcoming that it really added to the pleasure of our stay and made it special. An exceptional member of the Hotel staff!
And finally we loved the small group of cats and kittens that live around the hotel and frequent the outside dining area for titbits!”
