  “Absolutely lovely hosts who go out of their way to do the most for you. Nice lounge area and although the building is older they done a nice, modern renovation in the rooms and the beds are comfy. Merci!”

  “Lovely clean village with a gorgeous view from our room balcony. We were in the area to see the Tour de France. Really lucky to find this hotel, at a really reasonable price too. Evening meal was great as was our breakfast, homemade strawberry jam was yummy. Perfect bedroom and private bathroom with shower, the bed was very comfortable. A friendly couple answered all of our queries during our stay. Great Monaco at the bar on our arrival after a really hot day watching the tour. Shame we just had one night. I wanted to book again for the following Saturday so we could watch the women's Tour de France but they were fully booked. Hope to stay again, maybe next year.   “We came here for a few days to watch the Tour de France. Pleasantly surprised that the shops, bars restaurants in Valmoral were open in July. Because the weather wasn't as good as we had hoped our host suggested a trip up the mountain and a walk to the Col de la Madeleine which was a good day out and was quite an effort. We had dinner and drinks on the first evening, but ate out the other two nights. Breakfast was good and we were offered eggs on our final morning.”
