“Lovely big room. Great tea and coffee making facilities with breakfast bars and biscuits which was a nice touch. Big, clean white fluffy bath towels.”

  • “Stayed for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat is easily accessible on foot from the train station, and there is a wonderful pub just around the corner from it. The owner kindly allowed us an earlier check-in. Overall, very strongly recommend.”

“I absolutely loved the house – it was cosy, welcoming, and felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived. The bedroom was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and beautiful white cotton linen. There were also thoughtful little touches in the room like tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, and a kettle – perfect for a quiet cuppa in the morning or evening. The fluffy white towels were a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless and modern, with a fantastic shower. Despite the up-to-date features, the whole space had a warm, homely charm. There was a complimentary breakfast available in the kitchen each morning, which you could help yourself to – a really thoughtful addition. We were able to park directly on the drive from the road, which made things super convenient. The living room was also open for guest use, adding to the relaxed and welcoming feel. We’d asked if we could arrive early, and that was no problem at all. We also got to choose our own door code, which was ideal since we were coming back late from a party nearby. Our host, Angie, was absolutely lovely – so friendly, chatty, and welcoming. It honestly felt like visiting a long-lost friend rather than staying in a guest house. She made us feel completely at home and was incredibly helpful, offering lots of local information, including nearby taxi firms”

“Everything reasonably required was present. Easy parking right outside and convenient access. Nice breakfast items including fresh bread, cereals, milk, orange juice, butter, jam & marmalade. Fruit bowl a very nice touch. Stable door useful.”
