“Staying at this hostería was one of the highlights of our time in Bariloche. The location is simply perfect—just a short walk from the main street, yet quiet, peaceful, and safe. We felt completely at ease and at home from the moment we arrived.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly made this place special was the warm atmosphere and the kindness we felt every day.
Each morning, we were welcomed with a delicious homemade breakfast prepared by the sweetest woman, whose kindness and gentle presence stayed with us throughout our visit. She wasn’t just preparing food—she was offering care, warmth, and a touch of home. Her smile and attention made every morning something to look forward to. We are truly grateful for her generosity and heart.
This hostería offered so much more than just a place to sleep—it gave us comfort, quiet, and a feeling of being cared for. We are deeply thankful for this experience and hope to return one day. Highly, highly recommended!”
“As the name suggests, you can enjoy a view of the expansive Lago Nahuel Huapi from a large and pleasant common area. Like the rest of the hosteria, this area exudes the authentic German atmosphere of a 1960s family guesthouse. A hearty breakfast is also served here in the morning. It's a shame that, for us fruit lovers and yogurt lovers, fruit and fermented milk products weren't available. The friendly hostess provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy a pleasant stay in Bariloche. Hostería Güemes is within walking distance of the town center, and although we had a small room with a really tiny bathroom, we have fond memories of it.”
“The hostel was very sociable and staff were lovely. The whole hostel was lovely. The beds were comfortable and considering how cold it was outside, it was lovely and warm inside.”
