“The property was very clean and welcoming. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and plenty of towels were provided. The washing machine was very useful. The rural location was quiet and very relaxing.”
“Lovely old, ancient farmhouse with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room. Surprisingly large bedrooms. Amazingly comfortable beds, with soft cotton linen. Thick new carpets upstairs.
Absolute silence at night. Best night's sleep for a long time. The whole place is charming. Hot tub as well! Deck chairs, barbecue, and the kind offer to stay longer, which if we hadn't been heading to Dublin. Otherwise we would have been pleased to accept!
Excellent value, in fact it's undervalued.”
“The location was good. Just a short walk to the beach through secured gates, a key fob needed to gain entry back in. It was very quiet at this the time of year. The beach is unspoiled so no commercialisation. You cross a golf course to gain access to the beach which has a well marked path which is even suitable for wheelchairs. A good Centra a short drive away, takeaways and cafe's to choose from of which some do deliveries or order on line and pick up, we ordered from the Thai curry takeaway online and it was ready in 10 mins to pick up!! Public transport available to Rosslare, train and bus. Wexford town not too far away which has a nice old high street with lots of interesting shops, especially the Crafty Shop which is what we went in for.”
“Great easy communication with owner. Easy check in and out. Spotlessly clean and smelled great as soon as you walked in. Comfy bed. Bottle of wine and water left by host which was a lovely touch to add. Parking right outside in designated car park. Highly recommend.”
“We booked this as a stop before an early ferry. Looking at the picture before booking I thought it was a hostel but it is so much more than that.
The rooms are gorgeously decorated, super clean with great facilities. There's bread in the freezer in room 6 (communal lounge area) with jam and butter, help yourself the owners said. A kettle with snacks, teabags etc in our room and all the little touches sets it apart from other places in the same price point. Great location to walk for a drink, food or to watch the sun set over the sea just a 2 minute walk away. The shared shower/toilet facilities were super clean. We met both the owners who were so warm and welcoming, definitely recommend. Thanks for having us.”
