“300m away from the boats to Mamey Island but further away from the beaches . . . the accees to which is paying!!! Good wifi. Comfortable bed, hammock, outside table. Maybe a better place to relax than a base for visiting nearby.”

“Great location right by the sea, with direct access to the water, although the seabed is not really suitable for swimming. There is a nice pool. Snorkeling services are available right on site, and they can also take you by boat to the nearby island.”

“Nice getaway in nature. But very cheap to get into portobello via taxi which they connected me to and used to get around. The owner and staff were also very nice and friendly.”

“This place is phenomenal. It's a very big hostel with diverse rooms with air and TV. The ambience is outstanding in the middle of the Caribbean rainforest. What more can you ask for .”

“Great location with parking: somewhat tricky to get in, but you get used to it. Staff (Richie and wife) were wonderful, and so was breakfast: savory, sweet, fruit included every day. Pretty property with lush vegetation along a creek. Good Wifi throughout (I found out later that there are different routers covering various areas of the property)”
