    “Didn’t exoect much but the room was quiet big. It was like a suite with 1 room and a big living room with sofabed and a double bed + dining table. Good space for 4-6 people. Big entrance. I like the towels with different colors so it’s easy to determine.”

    “The hotel is a hidden gem of Switzerland directly at the lakeside of Lake Brienz having beautiful garden and like a 'postcard' view to the lake and all the mountains around. The ship station is directly in front of the hotel. Public transportation to reach any destination is easy by train and bus that are 10-minutes walk. Be prepared for the steep steps in the first few minutes on the path.The room was cosy and clean with comfortable bed, each day we started the day watching the lake and beautiful environment from our window. Quacks of the ducks woke us up. The breakfast contained several options and had very good quality. We loved the familial atmosphere mainly thanks for Peter and Shiva who were extremely kind and helpful. We felt like members of their family. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and can recommend this place warm-heartedly. We return here for sure when we visit this area next time.”

    “This was a good place for me to spend a night in Interlaken both before and right after my 9 day hike in the Jungfrau region mountains. It is located a outside the center of Interlaken but a walkable distance. It is easy to get from here with the PostBus to the Wilderswil train station for the train to Schynige Platte. There is a good bakery a few minutes away for breakfast and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Checking in went quickly and smoothly. I had booked a bed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, but both times I was put in a room composed of two separate rooms, each with 4 beds. This was actually nicer than being in a 6 bed dorm, just perhaps a little confusing.”

    “Great location and friendly staff. We stayed in the small room (as advertised) but the bonus was the balcony with amazing views. They also supplied a secure space for us to store our suitcases. Breakfast was also good.”
