“We really enjoyed our stay here , principally because of the very hardworking and engaging owner. He met us straight out of the car , we were offered tea, and lots of good advice. It is a pleasant 2.5km walk down into town , and a minivan runs every hour back up if you don’t want to walk. The room was comfortable , and had a great view. It was incredibly easy to access by rental car with parking right outside the front door. The breakfast was prepared thoughtfully , and all the breads and pastries were handmade by the owner. Great selection of salad ingredients too. Best of all , was that he so kindly managed to get us a reservation - the best table at the best restaurant in town . So special.”
“We had a great experience and were warmly welcomed by the staff, even though we arrived late.
The B&B is located in a quiet and cool area surrounded by trees. Parking is conveniently close to the property.
The room was very nice and clean, with wooden interiors that perfectly reflect the mountain atmosphere (the only minor downside was the bathroom, which was a bit small, but still standard).
What really impressed us was the breakfast – we’ve never had one so delicious and varied, with fresh, high-quality products. We absolutely loved the locally made caramel cream, as well as the various jams and types of honey.
The breakfast room is spacious and full of character, with a beautiful view of the woods, and breakfast is served at the table.
Excellent value for money.
We’ll definitely be back in the winter season.

“Everything was excellent
Mr. ALI is very welcoming and always ready for any thing you need
The place is exactly same as the photos but more cozy, kitchen is fully equipped if you need to cook your meal.
Definitely will come back 😍”
“It was the most amazing location - elevated with panoramic views over the whole of Safranbolu. Sympathetic restoration of a historic Ottoman mansion maintaining character and charm , but also providing modern day comforts. It is only a 200m walk down to the centre , and easily accessed by car with parking on the road right outside. Mr Gunes takes a real pride in his property , and it shows in the ongoing garden project , his friendliness , and the huge and well prepared breakfasts. It is completely worth booking the upstairs room with the balcony. We loved it.”
“The B&B is in a traditional old house and is well located in the new town of Safranbolu, close to supermarkets & restaurants. It's about a 20 minute uphill walk from the main bus station or a short minibus ride. Similarly, you can reach the old town by a pleasant walk on foot or by one of the regular minibuses.
My single room with attached bathroom was comfortable, clean and an adequate size. A useful feature was a fridge, but a fan would also have been beneficial. A good breakfast was provided.
The owners of the property are friendly, but speak no English.”
“The view from the room was breathtaking and remarkable.
The staff was professional and nice, even though they told us they don't have room service they did everything to make the stay comfortable.
The road to the bangalow was a little bit risky but very beautiful and worth the effort.
The breakfast was delicious and the view was great.
The jacuzzi experience with the view is unforgettable.”
“Charming guesthouse located among a row of historic Amasya homes along the river. Built in the 1800s, the street is cobblestoned and lined with shops and restaurants. Just behind it rises a dramatic rock face that holds the tombs of Pontic kings.
If you value travel for the people as much as the sights, this is the place for you! Everyone we met in this sweet town was kind and welcoming. Ensar was the perfect host—helpful in every possible way. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of unique jams. At night, the soft music drifting from across the river lulled us to sleep. The whole experience felt lifted from a fairy tale.”
